It's a gorgeous Chippendale Style hanging mahogany wall mirror made by the prestigious Hathaway's Furniture in New York. "Furniture of the Better Kind". The Clinton Mirror displays the hallmarks of the Chippendale style: "broken arch" pediment, shell and flower carving, gilted egg and dart trim and scrolls.Similar mirrors from this manufacturer and in this condition are currently listed from $200 and up on popular antique sites.
